About the role#
This internship focuses on enterprise technology across Security, Data & AI, Application Modernization, and Advanced Computing. You will support product development and help guide products from their initial concept to delivery. You will work alongside engineering, design, and business teams to solve complex problems and build a foundation for a career in product management.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with product managers on product strategy, planning, and execution.
- Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to identify opportunities.
- Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and feature priorities.
- Analyze customer feedback, business data, and product metrics to generate insights.
- Participate in product discovery, roadmap planning, and Agile team activities.
- Explore how AI technologies can improve products and business outcomes.
- Use AI tools like IBM Bob, Claude, or Copilot to support research, analysis, and content creation.
- Work with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and marketing.
- Create and present findings and product materials to stakeholders.
- Learn product management practices such as customer-centric thinking and data-driven decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program.
- Coursework in Business, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or Design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and make informed recommendations based on data.
- Interest in technology, innovation, market trends, and the product development lifecycle.
- Experience working with customers, stakeholders, or client-facing projects.
- Familiarity with AI, Security, Automation, Cloud, or Data & Analytics concepts.
- Experience collaborating on team projects or demonstrating leadership through academic or professional activities.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
