About the role#
As a Hardware Developer Intern, you will join the Infrastructure and Technology team to contribute to the development, validation, and delivery of processor, memory, and enterprise system technologies. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure products meet standards for quality, performance, and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Develop and execute test and validation solutions for hardware, processors, memory, and systems.
- Design and optimize test methodologies across development, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing environments.
- Support product reliability and burn-in activities to ensure consistent operation.
- Analyze engineering and manufacturing data to improve product performance.
- Build software and automation tools to support hardware validation, manufacturing operations, and engineering analytics.
- Collaborate with design, architecture, firmware, and quality teams to solve technical challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- Understanding of computer architecture, electronic systems, semiconductor technologies, or test engineering concepts.
- Experience with programming, scripting, or data analysis using languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Ability to solve problems and debug issues gained through coursework, research, or previous internships.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within engineering teams.
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering workflows, hardware characterization, or reliability testing is a plus.
