About the role#
As a Designer Intern, you will help shape user-centered experiences for enterprise software. You will work across the product lifecycle, from research and discovery to final visual design. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to build products that balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
What you'll do#
- Apply design thinking to identify and solve user problems.
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Advocate for the user during product development.
- Design experiences that improve usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in user interviews, usability studies, and feedback sessions.
- Analyze user behavior and workflows to inform your design decisions.
- Partner with researchers to validate design concepts.
- Work with product managers and developers to define requirements.
- Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions.
- Maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components.
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility and inclusive design standards.
What you'll need#
- A strong understanding of UX and UI design principles.
- Experience creating wireframes, journey maps, prototypes, and design specifications.
- Ability to solve complex user problems through design.
- Visual design skills in typography, layout, color, and hierarchy.
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience with prototyping tools and design collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based design.
