About the role#
As a Delivery Consultant Intern, you will work at the intersection of technology, people, and process. You will help clients define their goals and objectives to reach a future state. You will gain experience across IBM business units while helping clients understand how new technologies impact their business processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with cloud migration and system application implementation or upgrades.
- Run or support workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews.
- Document requirements from product owners and business leads.
- Develop process maps to understand current and future scenarios.
- Translate client requirements into analytical specifications for IBM solutions.
- Define operational scenarios and project the business value of solutions.
- Drive adoption of key performance indicators with client stakeholders.
- Develop communications tailored to specific audiences.
- Work in collaborative, Agile environments.
- Use IBM Design Thinking to solve client challenges.
- Analyze data to support conclusions, strategies, and organizational design.
What you'll need#
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology.
- Basic understanding of hybrid cloud strategies, AI, networks, and DevOps.
- Familiarity with Java, Python, C++, C#, dot.net, and HTML.
- Skills in SQL, data structures, and extract/transform/load processes.
- Strong data analysis and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and generate business cases.
- Previous internship or work experience in a corporate setting.
- Leadership experience and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
