About the role#
Hy-Vee is looking for an intern to join the corporate social media team for Summer 2027. You will support organic social media efforts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest. This role involves working with marketing teams, designers, and writers to maintain brand standards and execute social content strategies.
What you'll do#
- Track daily posting execution and verify accuracy.
- Publish social media content across platforms, both natively and through management software.
- Coordinate project workflows to meet execution deadlines.
- Clean up data in Sprinklr and assist with reporting and analytics.
- Create links and UTMs for tracking.
- Identify and curate user-generated content while managing the approval process.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and help develop social media best practices.
- Support social media campaigns and attend retail immersion visits.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 2-3 years of undergraduate education in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Experience using various social media platforms.
- Familiarity with social media management systems like Sprinklr or Monday.com is helpful.
- An understanding of paid advertising platforms is a plus.
- Ability to perform light physical tasks including occasional lifting and reaching.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in West Des Moines, Iowa, with a mix of on-site and remote work.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
