About the role#
This summer internship offers experience within the marketing department of a Midwest grocery retailer. You will work with a creative team to develop marketing campaigns and support the execution of strategic plans. This is a full-time, paid position based at our office in Grimes, Iowa.
What you'll do#
- Track creative projects and monitor deadlines.
- Research the marketplace, consumers, and the brand to uncover insights.
- Write marketing plans.
- Plan and communicate requirements for department promotions and projects.
- Coordinate special events and promotions.
- Assist marketing managers with specific projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program as a junior or senior.
- A major in marketing, advertising, or journalism.
- Relevant coursework completed.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work independently.
