About the role#
Join Humana as a Technology Intern for the Summer 2027 program. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience across various technological domains within a healthcare company. You will work on projects that impact the health and well-being of millions while building skills and launching your career.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with experienced technologists on initiatives including project management, agile development, software and cloud engineering, data science, and analytics.
- Solve real-world challenges in healthcare technology using various tools and methodologies.
- Contribute to meaningful projects aligned with Humana's mission and business objectives.
- Participate in executive-level presentations, professional development sessions, and workshops.
- Work closely with technical teams and leaders in areas such as CenterWell, Data and Analytics, Enterprise AI, and Cybersecurity.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time undergraduate or graduate student status in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Successful completion of the CodeVue technical assessment.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site for the duration of the program.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- This is an on-site internship based in Louisville, Kentucky.
- The program runs for 12 weeks, from May 24, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
