About the role#
The Summer 2027 MBA Internship in Primary Care and Clinical Innovation is a 12-week program designed for graduate students to contribute to enterprise-level work. You will engage with executive leaders, develop professional skills, and work on projects related to clinical performance, technology-enabled care, and operational efficiency. The program includes onboarding, orientation, and mentorship to support your growth within the organization.
What you'll do#
- Translate priorities in primary care and clinical innovation into action through strategic planning and business case development.
- Coordinate across functional teams to drive process improvement and portfolio execution.
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen clinical performance and deliver value for patients.
- Support sound governance and continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in meaningful project work and engage with leadership through networking and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an MBA or advanced professional degree program, such as an MPH, MD, JD, or PhD, with an expected graduation in spring or summer 2028.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience prior to starting graduate school.
- Demonstrated leadership through professional, academic, military, or extracurricular experiences.
- Strong strategic and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across clinical, operational, and business teams.
- Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Must not require visa sponsorship to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- Program dates: May 24, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
- Commitment: Full time, 40 hours per week.
- Work modality: Hybrid, with an in-person requirement of 3-4 days per week.
- Locations: Louisville, KY; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Arlington, VA; New York, NY; Nashville, TN; or Boston, MA.
