About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain corporate experience while working on safety and operational documentation. You will focus on creating machine-specific Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) binders by integrating Job Safety Analyses, Work Instructions, and Risk Assessments. This role involves partnering with EHS, Operations, and production teams to build practical training materials that support employee safety and onboarding.
What you'll do#
- Develop standardized safety and operational documentation.
- Review EHS program requirements, including Lockout/Tagout compliance and annual updates.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and help establish sustainable safety practices.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Deliver a presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university during the summer of 2027.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May-August).

- Compensation: $22.50 to $29.00 per hour, depending on academic standing and graduation date.
