About the role#
Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Corporate Development Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role supports the Corporate Development team, which reports directly to the CEO and CFO. You will contribute to strategic and operational initiatives and assist with global acquisition execution.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with acquisition-related activities and special projects.
- Support origination efforts by developing acquisition target searches and profiles.
- Track pipeline activities and maintain the CRM database.
- Analyze precedent transactions to aid in post-acquisition performance tracking.
- Develop and manage databases, processes, templates, and reports to drive efficiency for acquisitions and strategic projects.
- Create reports for management and the deal execution team.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Previous professional internship experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial modeling, acquisition analysis, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and a working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic.
