About the role#
The Corporate Development team at Houlihan Lokey reports directly to the CEO and CFO, working closely with business line leadership to execute strategic acquisitions and drive operational efficiencies. This internship offers exposure to global acquisition processes, corporate initiatives, and high-level financial analysis.
What you'll do#
- Assist with a broad range of acquisition-related activities and special projects.
- Support origination efforts by researching acquisition targets, evaluating industry participants, and maintaining the team's CRM database.
- Track post-acquisition performance by analyzing precedent transactions and generating reports for senior management.
- Develop and manage databases, processes, templates, and reports to improve team productivity and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior status in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Excel and a working understanding of PowerPoint and Word.
- Basic knowledge of financial modeling, analysis, and relevant accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a self-starting work ethic.
- Previous internship experience and a demonstrated interest in an investment banking or finance career are preferred.
