About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Summer 2027 internship within the Portfolio Valuation practice at Houlihan Lokey. You will work on-site in New York to gain exposure to professional valuation processes and methodologies. This role is intended for students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
What you'll do#
- Observe valuation processes and shadow analysts to learn core methodologies.
- Review reports to build an understanding of valuation techniques.
- Conduct research on company performance and market trends.
- Collect data and assist with the creation of valuation reports.
- Help with document organization, working papers, and data entry.
- Attend team meetings to support your professional development.
- Assist with calculations and analyses as directed by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.A., B.S., or B.B.A. program.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- A graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Completed coursework in finance and accounting.
- Strong analytical abilities and computer skills, particularly in Excel.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others.
