About the role#
As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will gain real-world experience by performing the duties of full-time engineering staff. You will manage projects independently and offer technical advice to improve facility performance.
What you'll do#
- Identify improvement opportunities by conducting ergonomic job surveys, analyzing operations, and reviewing job loads.
- Review current work methods and analyze potential design changes.
- Create AutoCAD layouts and analyze operations.
- Evaluate downtime and develop methods to increase efficiency.
- Recommend, evaluate, and install new equipment and facility layouts.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- You must be scheduled to graduate in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028.
- You must be a United States citizen, a lawful permanent resident, or possess authorization to work in the United States.
- You need access to a personal motor vehicle to travel to and from the workplace.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are expected.

- This is a full-time, paid position offering 40 hours per week.
- Roles are available in Austin, MN; Willmar, MN; Faribault, MN; Osceola, IA; and Rochelle, IL.
- The term covers Summer 2027 and Fall 2027.
- This position is on-site.
