About the role#
HNTB is seeking a Co-op Water Resources Scientist for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This role operates under close supervision to support departments with assignments in science, planning, and technology. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with various support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and data collection.
- Maintain records, collections, and files related to specific projects.
- Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Biology.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
- Familiarity with GIS software.

- This position is located on-site in Indianapolis, IN and Westfield, IN.
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
