About the role#
HNTB is seeking a Co-op Water Resources Scientist for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This role provides an opportunity to support project teams in science, planning, and technology under close supervision in a part-time, temporary capacity.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with various support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and data collection.
- Maintain records, collections, and files related to specific projects.
- Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Biology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with GIS software.

- Locations: Indianapolis, IN and Westfield, IN.
- Work Modality: On-site.
