About the role#
This position is exclusively for current or former HNTB interns. As a Returning New Grad Engineer I, you will contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects by applying engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria. You will work in partnership with project teams to perform research, development, and design tasks while ensuring project requirements are met within the established schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications.
- Support engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and administrative organization of design files.
- Prepare project quantity and cost estimates.
- Complete all assigned work within the provided schedule and hours.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Understanding of engineering principles relevant to your discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- A Master's degree in Engineering is desired.
