About the role#
This position is open exclusively to current or previous HNTB interns. As a Returning New Grad Engineer I, you will contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects by assisting in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications. You will work in partnership with project teams to apply engineering techniques and design criteria to projects of varying complexity.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned work within the established schedule and allocated hours.
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
- Provide organizational and administrative support for project design files.
- Assist engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and project development.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Environmental, Chemical, Industrial, or Business Administration).
- Understanding of engineering principles relevant to your discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
- Preference is given to candidates with a Master's degree in Engineering or an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
