About the role#
This position is exclusively for current or previous HNTB interns. As a New Grad Engineer I, you will contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects by applying engineering techniques and design criteria. You will work in partnership with project teams to perform research, calculations, and design development for projects of varying size and complexity.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned work within established schedules and hours.
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
- Provide organization and administrative support for project design files.
- Support engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and project design.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Environmental, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering).
- Understanding of engineering principles relevant to your discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
- Master's degree and EIT certification are preferred.
