About the role#
This position is exclusively for current or former HNTB interns. As a Returning New Grad Engineer I, you will join our Great Lakes Division to support the production and delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will partner with project teams to apply engineering techniques, develop design calculations, and contribute to the successful execution of project goals.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned work within established schedules and hours.
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
- Provide organizational and administrative support for design files.
- Assist engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and project design.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Aerospace, or Industrial).
- Understanding of engineering principles relevant to your discipline.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
