About the role#
This position is exclusively for current or former HNTB interns. As a New Grad Engineer I, you will contribute to the delivery of complex infrastructure projects by assisting with design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans. You will work in partnership with project teams to apply engineering techniques and criteria across various project sizes and complexities.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned tasks within established schedules and budgets.
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in developing project quantity and cost estimates.
- Provide organizational and administrative support for project design files.
- Conduct research, data collection, and field investigations to support project execution.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Aerospace, or Industrial).
- Understanding of engineering principles relevant to your discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure projects.
