About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship opportunity within the Mid Atlantic Division, reserved exclusively for current or former HNTB interns. This position supports engineering teams by performing fundamental tasks that align with standard post-secondary engineering curricula.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with research, development, and project design.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documentation as assigned.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for project documents.
- Accept and apply technical direction from peers and supervisors.
- Gain experience with introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering).
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize technical information and perform standard engineering calculations.
