About the role#
This position is open exclusively to current or former HNTB interns. As a returning intern engineer, you will support our Mid Atlantic Division teams by performing entry-level engineering tasks that align with your post-secondary curriculum. This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Support research, development, and design activities for various infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documentation under supervision.
- Apply direction from peers and supervisors to project workflows.
- Organize technical information for use in drawings and reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Ability to perform fundamental engineering calculations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize information effectively for technical documents.
