About the role#
This position is open exclusively to current or former HNTB interns. It is a full-time, paid summer 2027 internship designed for students enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program. You will work on-site to assist our teams with infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Assist with the research, development, and design of various projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and project documents.
- Handle other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary program in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or Business Administration or Architecture.
- Basic knowledge of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
- Ability to organize information for use in technical documents.

This role is on-site at one of the following locations: Boston, MA; Chelmsford, MA; South Portland, ME; Princeton, NJ; Newark, NJ; Cherry Hill, NJ; Parsippany, NJ; New York, NY; Bedford, NH; South Norwalk, CT; or Rocky Hill, CT. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
