About the role#
This internship with the Global Distribution Team offers professional experience within our Commercial Services organization. You will support teams that manage booking channels, handle negotiations, and oversee payment and transaction settlements for digital third-party platforms that drive business to our hotels. This program runs for 10 weeks, from June 1, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the team with booking channel management, operations, and negotiations.
- Prepare reports, conduct research, and analyze data to assist your team.
- Participate in learning and development workshops and networking events.
- Propose new ideas and solutions to encourage innovation.
- Collaborate with your manager to create a final presentation that showcases your work and experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior in a post-secondary program, or less than one year of professional experience.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10-week program (40 hours per week) on-site.
- Experience in a leadership role within a community or student-run organization.
- Previous work or internship experience in customer service or hospitality.
- Exposure to software development technologies, including C#, React JS, Microsoft SQL Server, and APIs.
- Familiarity with project management through academic projects, athletics, or employment.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Dallas, TX.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- Compensation is $24.00 per hour with a one-time $2,500.00 stipend.
