About the role#
HF Sinclair is seeking a Logistics Intern for the Summer 2027 term. Based in our Dallas office, this intern will work within the Global Logistics department to support strategic sourcing and supply chain projects under close supervision.
What you'll do#
- Research and extract spend data from internal systems.
- Create reports to identify trends, performance metrics, and operational issues.
- Conduct industry and market research to support assigned categories.
- Assist in the design and business interface of multi-year category management plans.
- Support supply chain system implementations.
- Manage regular and ad-hoc spend data reporting.
- Perform quality control processes for data and spend coding.
- Participate in functional Procurement and Logistics meetings and conference calls.
What you'll need#
- Completed coursework toward a Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
- Proficiency with word processing, database, email, and spreadsheet applications.
- Basic knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement principles.
- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
- Strong detail orientation and the ability to organize and review data.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Intermediate reading and writing skills.
- Ability to handle intermediate clerical and data entry tasks.
