About the role#
Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is hiring an Aerospace and Defense Engineering Intern to join our team in Calgary. This 12-month internship provides hands-on experience working with our Ground Reference Receiver and Anti-jam product lines. You will work alongside electrical, software, and system engineers to support the development and verification of GNSS technology.
What you'll do#
- Design, execute, and document software verification methods for Ground Reference Receiver and Anti-jam products.
- Develop software and tools using C++, Python, and MATLAB for testing and product improvement.
- Automate testing and post-processing tasks.
- Troubleshoot failing tests and hardware units to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in code and test reviews while providing constructive feedback.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Engineering Internship or Co-op program.
- Completion of at least your 2nd or 3rd year of studies by the start date.
- Current enrollment in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Geomatics Engineering.
- Availability for a minimum 12-month work term.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and solve problems independently.
- Interest in signals and systems, RF circuit design, or embedded software design is an asset.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Calgary, Alberta.
- The internship term runs from May 2, 2027, to May 3, 2028.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
