About the role#
This is a 12-month internship based in Toronto, running from January 2027 through December 2027. You will join the North America Quality department to assist with software and hardware quality assurance. This role offers exposure to project and product lifecycles while providing opportunities to contribute to process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Implement AI use cases to reduce costs and automate quality activities, such as metric collection.
- Participate in the AI committee to share ideas and learn from ongoing initiatives.
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with daily tasks and follow-ups.
- Support Project Quality Managers by updating KPIs and preparing data for the Monthly Quality Report.
- Update existing scripts and tools used by the team.
- Manage customer surveys, including monitoring milestones to ensure timely feedback collection.
- Assist other departments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and find solutions when challenges arise.
- A strong desire to learn quickly and contribute to the team.
- Hands-on experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Automate.
- Technical proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Copilot.
