About the role#
The Research & Analytics Intern will work in our lab to support business operations. You will learn to use specialized instruments and techniques while helping the team complete research projects. This role involves compiling test data into charts, presentations, and reports.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research projects focused on current and future business opportunities.
- Set up and calibrate laboratory instruments for sample analysis.
- Prepare samples for testing with high accuracy.
- Record, review, and verify results using Good Documentation Practices, GLPs, and GMPs.
- Analyze and report on research findings.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds, standing, and moving throughout the plant.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year before the internship starts.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to work extended hours, including daily overtime or occasional weekends when necessary.
- Prior experience in a research or quality lab, or a food manufacturing environment, is helpful.

- This position is based on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
