About the role#
Heartland ABA is hiring Behavior Hero Fellows to provide one-on-one ABA services to clients. This is a part-time position where you will work directly with children with Autism. We are looking for individuals who can commit to a 6-month term to help our clients reach their goals. This role is ideal for those with backgrounds in education, childcare, mental health, or social services, though we provide training for those new to the field.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients.
- Implement skill-building and care plans as a member of our clinical team.
- Record session data using electronic devices.
- Create a positive learning environment for clients.
- Connect with families to support client progress.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- An RBT certification, which is required before you start working.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm during challenging situations.
- A willingness to learn and work with children with Autism.

- Location: Paxton, Nebraska.
- Work modality: On-site in client homes or community-based locations.
- Schedule: Part-time with rolling start dates.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.

Heartland ABA provides personalized, at-home therapy for children and young adults on the autism spectrum. The organization serves individuals between 18 months and 21 years of age. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the company operates as a privately held entity. It employs between 11 and 50 people.
