About the role#
HCVT is looking for an MBA intern to join our Technology and Transformation practice. You will work with middle-market and private equity-backed clients to support strategic business transformation. This role offers hands-on experience in technology strategy, business process improvement, and digital transformation. You will work alongside experienced consultants to assess client challenges, evaluate solutions, and develop recommendations.
What you'll do#
- Analyze client operations, business processes, and technology environments to find improvement opportunities.
- Participate in client interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to identify business needs and objectives.
- Conduct research to evaluate potential solutions and support the development of recommendations.
- Assist in creating technology strategies, business cases, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans.
- Support ERP evaluations, system selection, and technology implementation, including requirements gathering and process design.
- Research opportunities for AI, automation, data analytics, and process optimization.
- Prepare client presentations, reports, and other deliverables to communicate findings and insights.
- Collaborate with engagement teams to support project execution and monitor progress.
- Contribute to internal practice development, including research, methodologies, and proposal development.
- Participate in professional development to strengthen consulting, analytical, and technical skills.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in technology, transformation, management consulting, or a related business function.
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives, technology implementations, or business process improvement projects.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, data analytics, AI, or automation initiatives.
- Experience conducting business analysis, developing recommendations, or presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Relevant transferable experience and a demonstrated interest in transitioning into consulting.

- Compensation: $50 to $55 per hour plus overtime.
