About the role#
Hatch is seeking a Power Asset Management Student to join the Energy Client Operations group. You will work from our Mississauga office to support global projects. This team provides asset management, performance, and investment planning advisory services to clients in the power and oil and gas sectors. You will contribute to projects involving reliability engineering, data analytics, and asset health index formulation.
What you'll do#
- Solve technical problems related to energy technologies and power generating systems.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
- Assist in the research and development of new energy technologies.
- Contribute to the creation of technical reports and client presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a 3rd or 4th year student in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering at an accredited university.
- A strong academic record.
- A solid understanding of engineering and business fundamentals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
- Critical and creative thinking skills for complex problem solving.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach to teamwork.
