About the role#
We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our Shared Services group in Pittsburgh. You will support our global offices while working from our local office. This role offers exposure to HR generalist activities, recruitment processes, and data management within a professional services environment. We operate with a flat structure that encourages participation and open communication.
What you'll do#
- Assist with HR generalist tasks, including new hire onboarding, file creation, and program reviews.
- Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
- Maintain HR databases and information systems.
- Prepare reports and analytics.
- Help with daily employee requests.
- Coordinate with technicians and engineers on projects, including support for design preparation and drawings.
- Assist senior staff with various assignments related to your sector.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, specifically advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to learn quickly.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors or SAP is an asset.
- Previous co-op or HR internship experience is an asset.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-office position. While remote flexibility is provided when needed, we encourage teams to be in the office most of the time.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Term: Rolling.
