About the role#
Hatch is seeking a Communications Student to join our team for a Winter 2027 internship. You will work from our Mississauga office and report to the Internal Communications group. This role offers the chance to support global marketing and communications efforts while gaining experience in a professional engineering consulting environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the marketing and communications team with daily operations.
- Interface with various business groups, including mining and metals, energy, infrastructure, digital solutions, and investments.
- Attend and contribute to department and project team meetings.
- Handle administrative duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a 2nd or 3rd year student in communications, marketing, or journalism.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- You have a good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required.
- You possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- You can handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- You are a collaborative team player who learns quickly and adapts to change.
- You demonstrate critical and creative thinking when solving problems.
- You must submit an official or unofficial transcript with your application.
