About the role#
As a Walmart Client Services Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting our Walmart client teams. You will work alongside experienced staff to analyze retail data and help turn findings into stories that inform business decisions. This 12-week program offers exposure to how we partner with suppliers and retailers to solve problems and achieve goals.
What you'll do#
- Learn our internal systems, tools, and processes to support daily client business needs.
- Collect and analyze point-of-sale and syndicated data from sources like Circana and Nielsen to identify trends.
- Support recurring client reporting by translating data into clear takeaways and recommendations.
- Participate in team meetings and client discussions to gain exposure to client strategy.
- Engage in professional development and learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with other interns on a summer project and present your findings to our leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's or graduate degree, with junior, senior, or graduate student status preferred.
- Academic focus in Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in using data to uncover insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- A self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying detail-oriented and organized.
- A strong desire to learn and build effective working relationships.
- Interest in a career in sales, analytics, account management, or the retail industry.

- This is a paid, full-time internship located on-site in Rogers, Arkansas.
- The program runs from May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
