About the role#
Target Client Services Interns gain experience in the retail industry by supporting our Target client teams. You will work with experienced team members to analyze data, uncover trends, and help turn information into stories that inform client strategies. This role provides exposure to retail management and the opportunity to contribute to client work throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Learn Harvest Group systems, tools, and processes to support daily client business needs.
- Collect, organize, and analyze point-of-sale and syndicated data using Target systems and sources like Circana and Nielsen.
- Help translate data into clear takeaways and business recommendations for recurring client reports.
- Join internal team meetings and client discussions to learn about retail strategy and the Target business.
- Participate in professional development and learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with other interns on a summer project and present your findings to Harvest Group leaders.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree, with junior, senior, or graduate student status preferred.
- You have an interest in a career in sales, analytics, account management, or the retail industry.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy using data to find insights.
- You are curious, motivated, and able to learn new things.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- You are comfortable working in a changing environment.
- You have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- You can collaborate effectively and build working relationships.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- The program runs for 12 weeks, from May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
