About the role#
This paid internship offers 12 weeks of experience within the specialty insurance industry. You will work 40 hours per week on-site, joining one of our specialty underwriting teams. This program focuses on building your business acumen and communication skills through direct work with executive leadership and other interns.
What you'll do#
- Participate in agent marketing calls and sit in on client meetings.
- Assist with insurance policy renewals.
- Manage new business and renewal data using Microsoft Excel.
- Evaluate which programs or markets best fit the needs of agency clients.
- Communicate loss notices and policy changes.
- Collaborate with senior leaders on special projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
