About the role#
This is a 10-week paid summer internship program running from May 27, 2027, to August 6, 2027. You will work within the Investment Operations team to gain experience in a global financial services environment. This role is based on-site in New York City. Interns may be considered for the Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion of the internship.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operational processes for investment portfolios and transactions.
- Monitor and resolve exceptions related to trade settlement, cash, and position reconciliation.
- Analyze operational data to contribute to process improvement and automation.
- Learn about the company purpose, values, and service offerings.
- Collaborate with leaders and mentors while building a network with fellow interns.
- Ask questions and think broadly about data and business information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Finance, with a graduation date of May 2028.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- A technology-driven mindset and willingness to learn about various finance functions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
