About the role#
The Guardian Summer Intern, Sales Trainee program is a 10-week paid experience designed for current juniors graduating in May 2028. This full-time role offers an inside look at a global financial services company. You will work alongside sales teams and interact with senior leaders to build your professional foundation.
What you'll do#
- Gain direct exposure to sales operations by shadowing veteran representatives on calls.
- Learn about the company purpose, values, and the full suite of product and service offerings.
- Build a professional network by connecting with colleagues and fellow interns.
- Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts, and business information.
- Receive coaching and mentorship from leaders across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior with a graduation date of May 2028.
- Major in Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a desire to improve.
- Skill in managing time, balancing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to influence, persuade, and communicate ideas effectively.
- Competitive drive and motivation to achieve goals.
- Confidence in engaging with new people and a personable communication style.
- Interest in developing sales skills through client-facing or goal-oriented experiences.
