About the role#
As a GMK Precision Tech Intern, you will work under the direction of the Sales and Marketing Manager. You will gain hands-on experience in agronomy and support the implementation of precision farming technology across the region. This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2026.
What you'll do#
- Support the usage and implementation of advanced information systems including CLIMATE, MiField, mavrx, Precision Planting, and Scout Pro.
- Act as a resource for agronomy precision farming products.
- Visit various FS locations and meet with customers to build professional relationships.
- Follow company policies, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or certification program at a community college, technical college, or university, with good academic standing.
- Preferred fields of study include Agriculture, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel independently.
- Willingness to participate in required training.
- Ability to frequently lift 51-70 pounds.
- You may work in extreme weather conditions or at elevated heights.
