About the role#
Join AgVantage FS as an Agronomy Intern for the Summer of 2027. This role provides hands-on experience in crop production and agronomy operations. You will work alongside professionals to support farmer-member customers while participating in the GROWMARK Internship Program. The program includes professional development, networking, and a capstone project.
What you'll do#
- Conduct field scouting, monitor crop health, and collect field data.
- Assist with agronomy trials, plot work, field demonstrations, and research projects.
- Use precision agriculture tools for scouting and data collection.
- Support product inventory, ordering, receiving, and daily operational tasks.
- Attend customer visits, grower events, and educational opportunities.
- Travel to various locations to build relationships with staff and industry partners.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree or certification in Agriculture from a community college, technical college, or university.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Comfort working in varying weather conditions and at various heights.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Location: Allison, Iowa.
- Term: Summer 2027 (minimum 12 weeks).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
