About the role#
Greenheck Group is looking for engineering students to join our team as a full-time co-op. This is a paid position based in Shelby, North Carolina. You will work an 8-month term during the Winter, Summer, or Fall of 2027. You will be assigned to one of our functional engineering areas based on your background and business needs.
What you'll do#
- Test Engineering: Build prototypes, conduct tests, and document your results in our testing lab.
- Manufacturing Engineering: Create and update Standard Operating Procedures, troubleshoot machines, and support daily production.
- Product Engineering: Design, test, and oversee the production of new and existing products from concept to launch.
- Application Engineering: Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and assist with the design of product selection software.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing, or Applied Engineering.
- You must be on track to graduate in the next 3 semesters or less.
- Experience working with basic hand tools.
- Experience using 3D modeling software.
