About the role#
We are seeking an Engineering student for a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op position in Knoxville, Tennessee. This is a full-time, paid role running from January to August 2027. You will work 40 hours per week as part of our Early Talent Program, which includes professional development, networking with other students, and direct feedback from company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support daily production operations.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures.
- Troubleshoot machinery on the shop floor.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to layout design and process development to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing, or Applied Engineering.
- Graduation expected within the next 3 semesters or less.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with basic hand tools.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency with 3D modeling software is a plus.

- Location: Knoxville, TN.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 (January to August).
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, plus paid time off for company-observed holidays.
- Additional support: Eligible for housing assistance or a sign-on bonus depending on the specific assignment.
