About the role#
As an Operations Transformation Intern, you will join the Advisory practice to assist clients with operations modernization and improvement initiatives. You will work within cross-functional teams to help clients achieve their vision through operational efficiency, digital solutions, and process design. You will be empowered to contribute from day one while receiving support to grow your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the delivery of major transformation initiatives, including operational efficiency programs and digital operations management.
- Create, interpret, and transform data and analytics into actionable performance insights.
- Manage and minimize engagement delivery risk by identifying issues and recommending remediation to the team.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and team members to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Experience with process mapping, data analysis, or operational assessments through coursework, projects, or prior internships.
- Demonstrated digital fluency in technology, data, and basic AI technologies.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Location & details#
- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with in-person attendance required at least three days per week at a firm office or client site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship position.
