About the role#
As an intern in our Information Technology Consulting group, you will support public sector clients including cities, counties, states, utility districts, and school districts. You will function as a member of our team, working directly alongside our entry-level staff to address critical business needs. This position involves travel to client sites for meetings and project work. We operate on a hybrid model that balances in-person collaboration with flexibility.
What you'll do#
- Help public sector organizations prepare for and optimize technology investments.
- Create innovation roadmaps and assist clients with selecting or implementing enterprise technology solutions like ERP, EAM, CIS, and SIS.
- Conduct process assessment, improvement, and redesign.
- Participate in vendor software demonstrations, stakeholder interviews, and implementation management.
- Assist with research, special analysis, and thought leadership development.
- Build relationships with clients through networking and business development activities.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and manage detail-oriented tasks.
- Knowledge or experience in IT or engineering is a plus.

- Status: Full-time, paid internship.

- Note: This is a non-exempt position that may require more than 40 hours per week and travel. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
