About the role#
This internship is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027 based in Southfield, Michigan. You will work with the healthcare operations improvement team to develop and implement strategic process improvements. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience, and you will be treated as an entry-level staff member rather than an intern tasked with busy work.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the workflow redesign of health system operations using the CLEAR improvement methodology.
- Support the strategic modeling, design, and deployment of resources across the value-based care continuum.
- Apply data analysis skills to identify trends and anomalies in client operations.
- Research market trends and report findings to support active client engagements.
- Build professional relationships with clients and interact with staff at all levels.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor’s degree is required, and you must be currently pursuing a master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and an interest in a career in healthcare consulting.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
