    About the role#

    As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work with our team to design, analyze, and develop solutions for fluid handling equipment. You will build practical skills in machine design, failure analysis, strength of materials, and fluid mechanics while solving real problems.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in new product development, including mechanical design ideation and collaboration.
    • Provide hands-on support for project team prototyping and testing.
    • Design and execute test plans.
    • Analyze designs using tools like CREO and Finite Element Analysis.
    • Evaluate designs against industry standards such as SAE and UL.
    • Troubleshoot product issues in manufacturing, the lab, or the field.
    • Develop and implement solutions to solve specific technical problems.
    • Review instruction manuals and product documentation.
    • Conduct tests and analyze results to support product development.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a BS program for Mechanical Engineering.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Experience with CAD software like SolidWorks or Creo.
    • Mechanical aptitude and a desire for hands-on work.
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    • Location: North Canton, Ohio.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment: Full-time paid internship.
    • Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
    • Note: This position does not offer immigration sponsorship.
