About the role#
Graco is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team in Dayton, Minnesota. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work on projects that contribute to our production operations and gain experience in a professional manufacturing environment. The program concludes with a final presentation of your work.
What you'll do#
- Provide general production support for machining and assembly areas.
- Troubleshoot technical issues through hands-on work.
- Evaluate the need for machine or assembly area upgrades.
- Assist with capital equipment justification.
- Review operational layouts and standards to suggest improvements.
- Help select and implement tooling and fixtures for production jobs.
- Participate in root cause analysis and quality improvement projects.
- Report man-hour estimates and react to changing priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in hands-on work.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with 3D printers.

- Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
