    About the role#

    Graco is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team in Dayton, Minnesota. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work on projects that contribute to our production operations and gain experience in a professional manufacturing environment. The program concludes with a final presentation of your work.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide general production support for machining and assembly areas.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues through hands-on work.
    • Evaluate the need for machine or assembly area upgrades.
    • Assist with capital equipment justification.
    • Review operational layouts and standards to suggest improvements.
    • Help select and implement tooling and fixtures for production jobs.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and quality improvement projects.
    • Report man-hour estimates and react to changing priorities.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Mechanical aptitude and an interest in hands-on work.
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
    • Familiarity with 3D printers.

    • Location: Dayton, Minnesota (French Lake).
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
    • Note: This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
