About the role#
This Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op position supports the Strategic Business Unit and Manufacturing Cell. You will apply your engineering coursework to real-world projects and contribute to team initiatives. This is a full-time, paid role based on-site in Rogers, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Provide production support for machining and assembly areas.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical assistance.
- Evaluate the need for machine or assembly area upgrades.
- Participate in capital equipment justification.
- Analyze operational layouts and standards to suggest improvements.
- Select and implement tooling and fixtures.
- Engage in root cause analysis, corrective action, and cost of quality improvements.
- Report man-hour estimates and adapt to changing priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Mechanical aptitude and a desire for hands-on work.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and 3D printers.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
