About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in Agile software development, DevOps practices, and production support. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality product features while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role focuses on improving development tools and processes, supporting system reliability through vulnerability remediation, and maintaining a production-first mindset.
What you'll do#
- Attend and participate in scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Participate in team and departmental meetings.
- Assist with vulnerability remediation and the improvement of DevOps tooling.
- Develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile and web applications, and API services.
- Maintain a focus on scale, uptime, and the ability to resolve production issues.
- Invest in Agile practices to improve product quality and time to market.
- Complete a final capstone presentation at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program or higher in Computer Science, with at least one semester remaining.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA. Junior or Senior classification is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to business leaders.
- Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a team and manage tasks with attention to detail.
- Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, including evaluating outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, prompting techniques, and AI-assisted software development.
- Previous internships are a plus.

- Location: Arlington, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 26 to August 6).
- Modality: Hybrid (2 days a week in office).
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
