About the role#
This internship offers students the chance to work on projects within the Business Analytics field. You will gain exposure to industrial initiatives while working with data, performance trends, and statistical analysis. The program runs for 11 weeks, from May 26 to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Use data analysis and validation practices to ensure accurate results.
- Assist with portfolio performance reporting for an auto finance portfolio.
- Work directly with internal customers to create and adjust reports.
- Identify business issues and translate them into quantitative questions.
- Design and implement model documentation.
- Summarize findings, develop recommendations, and present your analysis to management.
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate tasks under pressure.
- Collaborate with internal teams while maintaining the ability to work with minimal supervision.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program or higher in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Decision Science, or a related field.
- At least one semester remaining in your degree program at the start of the internship.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting to business leaders.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency with AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to support daily work.
- Experience evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias, and integrating AI into workflows.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection.
