About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to support research within the Medicinal Chemistry and Structural Biology departments. You will contribute to projects that translate research questions into data-driven or AI-enabled approaches. The role is full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform in-silico experiments to support departmental research.
- Use in-house and public code or software to collect and prepare structural, bioactivity, or analytical data.
- Generate comprehensive analysis and create actionable inferences.
- Author tools as needed for specific projects.
- Participate in group meetings to discuss progress.
- Present your work at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Computer Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- At least 18 years of age at the start of the program.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
