About the role#
This is a part-time internship role based in our Boston laboratory. You will support our bioanalytical services by assisting with assay preparation, sample management, and data review. You will receive frequent supervision as you learn to follow strict laboratory methodologies and safety protocols. The role requires 20 to 24 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Perform assay tasks under supervision and follow specific directives.
- Prepare buffers and lab supplies.
- Handle pipetting and organize samples for testing.
- Manage bioanalytical samples, including shipping to domestic or international locations and disposing of samples per client instructions.
- Maintain accurate records for assay details and reagents.
- Keep an inventory of laboratory supplies.
- Assist the team with data review and presentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a biology, chemistry, or related scientific degree program.
- Status as a rising junior or senior in a 4-year university, or enrollment in a graduate program.
- Completion of at least 2 college-level lab courses.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, follow directions, and manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Clear oral and written communication.

- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 (November 2026 through May 2027).
- Compensation: Paid position.
