About the role#
Nanopath is looking for a Research Associate Co-op to join our Assay Development team. You will work directly with our scientists and engineers to drive our diagnostic platform forward. This role offers exposure to biophysics and interdisciplinary medical technology development through hands-on project work.
What you'll do#
- Manage and support a variety of assay development tasks.
- Perform laboratory work in areas such as molecular biology, cell culture, biomanufacturing, and bioinformatics.
- Participate in team meetings, discussions, and presentations.
- Take ownership of projects that contribute to our product development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant academic program, such as Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Sophomore status or above with previous internship or research experience.
- Ability to commit to at least 15 weeks of full-time, onsite work.
- Strong organizational skills, scientific rigor, and an ability to solve problems creatively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive approach and interest in technology translation.
