About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to biostatistics projects within a research environment. You will gain experience through hands-on work and participate in professional development events throughout the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Review literature on topics such as adaptive designs, covariate adjustment, multiple imputation, digital twins, and Bayesian methods.
- Create new statistical methodologies or software packages.
- Run simulation studies and write statistical reports.
- Present your findings at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to 10 to 12 consecutive weeks of full-time work between May and August.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- PhD candidates are preferred.
